Ecomondo 2011 hosts UNIDO ITPO Italy’s African delegation

The participation of the African delegation in Ecomondo 2011 has been successfully concluded. This important fair allowed entrepreneurs and institutions from Developing Countries invited by UNIDO ITPO Italy to get acquainted with the state-of-the-art of technology in the environment and renewable energy field.

In order to more involve Italian entrepreneurs in the development process of their countries, 14 representatives from Cameroon, Egypt, Morocco and Mozambique, took advantage of this privileged symposium for networking and exchange information between key market players, promoting their requests and opportunities.

Over 240 ad hoc business meetings have been attended by the African guests. The results achieved have raised great satisfaction from both sides: in fact, several requests of feasibility plans and development studies have been joined by various agreement proposals to be potentially finalized in the near future, mainly in waste and water treatment field.
