Rome, April 17^th 2015 - A 'Joint Declaration' was signed today in the headquarters of Lazio Innova in Rome, between the head of UNIDO ITPO Italy, Mrs. Diana Battaggia and the Director General of Lazio Innova Mr. Andrea Ciampalini, which has laid the foundations to promote industrial collaboration between companies from developing countries and Lazio ones.

The initiative is part of the project work of UNIDO in the framework of EXPO Milano 2015. To this end UNIDO ITPO Italy designed a web platform entitled 'Supporting your SMEs to Discover EXPO 2015 and Italian Excellences', with the aim to promote new business opportunities for companies coming from developing countries and provide them with a comprehensive description of some Italian Industrial Districts like the Lazio one. In this context, a number of regional initiatives are expecting to be organized in the Lazio region like B2B meetings, study tours and company visits.
