Rome, 22 February 2018 - UNIDO ITPO Italy has renewed its participation to LUISS University’s Career Day for Social Impact Organizations, held at the university’s campus in Rome on 22 February 2018.

The event was organized by LUISS in order to provide to its students and recent graduates the opportunity to gather first-hand information and interact with professional staff from relevant international and social impact organizations. The fair was attended, among others, by organizations such as the World Food Programme (WFP), UN/DESA, UNHCR, IDLO and UNICRI.

During the Career Day, ITPO Italy staff had the opportunity to disseminate information and raise awareness on its mandate and activities, and to illustrate the framework and procedures of the UNIDO Internship Programme, dedicated to recent graduates.

UNIDO Internship Programme provides to the students a great opportunity to receive job training with challenging assignments and put theoretical knowledge to practice. The programme also allows to gain insight on how attempts are made to solve problems confronting developing economies in the area of industrialization.
