“Doing Green Business” – the series of thematic country presentations organized by UNIDO ITPO Italy from 23 September to 28 October 2020 – successfully promoted to more than 170 Italian entrepreneurs and institutional representatives the many opportunities for investment in the field of renewable energies and environmental technologies in Peru, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Botswana, Ethiopia and Cuba.

The initiative was organized in the framework of the project “Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors”, funded by the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.

All six episodes of Doing Green Business, each one dedicated to a single target country, saw the interventions of relevant representatives from Italian and local counterparts from both the public and the private sector – among which institutions, embassies, ministries, international organizations, companies, small and medium enterprises, associations, universities and further prominent stakeholders. 

Promoting the incentives for investment in the country and the transfer of innovative technologies, the webinar series provided a virtual interactive platform for the exchange of technical knowledge and experiences, facilitating potential partnerships and trade collaborations in the field between Italy and the partner countries of the project.
