UNIDO ITPO Italy supported an Italian business delegation to EXPOAGUA & SOSTENIBILIDAD 2021, held from 27 to 29 October 2021 at the Jockey Exhibition Center in the district of Surco in Lima, Peru.

EXPOAGUA & SOSTENIBILIDAD is the main Peruvian trade fair dedicated to water management and sustainability, presenting the latest technological innovations and solutions for the integral management of water. The event saw the participation of multiple companies, international experts, decision makers, government authorities, and a wide segment of end users from water-related sectors, in particular agriculture, mining and industry.

In this framework, UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and assisted the participation of 2 Italian companies - Genius Watter, in the field of desalination with renewable energies, and Tecofil, operating in waste water treatment - facilitating around 30 B2B for each company with private companies and public authorities in the environment sector from Lima, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Huancayo and other Peruvian cities.

UNIDO ITPO Italy also joined as panelist the event conference session "Tratamiento híbrido de aguas industriales y potabilización. Ejemplos eficientes.", with an introduction by UNIDO ITPO Italy's Special Advisor for Peru Mr. Andrea Pavia followed by the success cases of Genius Watter and Tecofil.

This initiative was organized in the framework of “Fostering International partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors” (FIPEE), project funded by Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
