UNIDO ITPO Italy is pleased to invite Italian companies to participate in the entrepreneurial mission organized on the occasion of the 14th edition of Erbil Build Expo, the international fair dedicated to the building, construction and integrated engineering services sector which will be held in Erbil, Iraq, from 21 to 24 May 2024.

Supported by the Government of Kurdistan, the Iraqi Ministries of Construction, Electricity and Trade, the Governorate of Erbil and other relevant institutions, Erbil Build Expo is the largest reference fair in Iraq and throughout the Middle East. The 2024 edition includes over 400 exhibitors from 13 countries and 20,000 visitors from all over the world.

At its own stand at the fair UNIDO ITPO Italy will host the Italian companies participating in the initiative, who will have the opportunity to:

• display promotional material about their products and services;
• participate in B2B/B2G meetings and networking activities with international exhibitors and visitors;
• discover new opportunities in the local market;
• participate in meetings and guided business visits in the Erbil area;
• initiate and/or consolidate contacts on-site to develop new collaborations.

The package of services offered free of charge by UNIDO ITPO Italy to participating companies (1 representative per company) includes:

• Overnight stay in a hotel for a maximum of 4 nights with breakfast included (check-in 20/05/2024 and check-out 24/05/2024);
• Facilitation for the issuance of a business visa (at the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Italy);
• Transfers on site, including transfer service to and from the airport, by shuttle, van or car. Domestic flights will not be taken into consideration. In case of deviation from the itinerary or travel dates scheduled by UNIDO ITPO Italy, additional costs and any organization will be borne by the delegates concerned.
• Any expense incurred by delegates for travel, passports, visas, Covid-19 tests and required medical tests, vaccinations and anything not expressly indicated above will be borne by the delegates.
