Ms. Maryse Meyo, a representative of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Cameroon (API Cameroun), was hosted in Rome with the aim of promoting opportunities in pharmaceutical and chemical sectors, building materials, footwear, and mineral water. Cameroonian SME projects concerning the environmental sector were also present in Ms. Meyo’s promotional activities. During her stay, she participated in Ecomondo Fair held in Rimini where she represented different Cameroonian SMEs in the B2B meetings held with Italian entrepreneurs, but she also offered essential information regarding the investment climate, incentives, and opportunities currently available in her country. Moreover, the Delegate participated in a study tour organised by Federalimentare, in order to gather first hand information about products and industrial process improvements as well as technology in the food processing industry. She also visited Expoedilizia fair, with the aim of identifying cutting-edge technologies that could be useful for some projects in the building sector.
