Florence, September 26th - The world is witnessing the emergence of digital technologies that are rapidly evolving, optimizing operations, and accelerating innovation in the industry. In this framework, on September 26th, UNIDO ITPO Italy have been invited as speaker of the panel about “Young, sustainability and innovation” within the 11th International Symposium on Digital Earth which was held in Florence from 24th-27th September 2019.
The event focused on “Digital Earth in transformed society” and the agenda consisted of technical seminars and academic debates with international experts from scientific, technology and digital sectors.
On this occasion, UNIDO ITPO Italy intervened with the aim of sharing with the young innovators how the rippling effect of their disruptive ideas can contribute to shape the future of manufacturing and identify solutions that can transform the world of production, enabling more efficient processes and creating new value for industry, society and the environment.
With more than 500 people, including delegates from International Organization, EU Institutions and research centers, the event was a successful summit organized by ANGI – Associazione Nazionale Giovani Imprenditori - in partnership with the EU Commission, Agenzia Spaziale Europea and Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche.
