AZIMUT LIBERA IMPRESA EXPO: ITPO Italy organized a panel on sustainable finance and opportunities in DCs

Milan, October 30th - Within the framework of AZIMUT LIBERA IMPRESA EXPO, UNIDO ITPO Italy organized a panel on the new business opportunities for SMEs offered by Developing Countries, which took place on October 30th, 2019 in Rho Fiera - Milan.

New business models in line with criteria of environmental and social sustainability, access to credit for micro-enterprises, capacity-building activities and ad hoc private and institutional tools for sustainable investments in Developing Countries are some of the topics addressed during the panel by Carlo Segni (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti), Gianluca Marchesini (Azimut), Andrea Maggiani (Carbon Sink), Daniela Ropolo (CNH Industrial) and Davide Libralesso (Etimos Foundation), besides the opening speech of Diana Battaggia, Head of UNIDO ITPO Italia.

In line with the mandate of UNIDO ITPO Italy, the panel also aimed to present the opportunities offered by Developing Countries to the Italian business and financial world and to raising awareness about Agenda 2030 and the related 17 SDGs.

With over 70 conferences, 280 speakers and 14.000 participants Azimut Libera Impresa EXPO represented one of the most important events in Italy on financial alternatives business: a rendez-vous point between real economy and asset management, and a strategic platform to promote new business and matchmaking opportunities among the stakeholders operating in this sector.
