On July 2nd 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy met with the Ministry of Environment of Peru (MINAM) with regards to the project "Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors" (FIPEE), funded by the Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.

The discussion was aimed at introducing the FIPEE project and exploring potential activities to support NDC implementation, in order to maximize synergies with development objectives.

The meeting was attended by UNIDO ITPO Italy Chief Technical Advisor and Country Manager for Peru Dino Fortunato and FIPEE Project Coordinator Valentina Maltese; Martha Cuba and Alicia Chang, respectively Head of the Office for Cooperation and International Relations and Project Evaluator at MINAM; Andrea Pavia, Business Manager at the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Peru; and Federico Solari Recavarren, CEO and Founder of CIE Tecnología Ambiental.
