On 9th August 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy held an online meeting with the R&D and technology company ZERO Vertical Farms.

As a result of years of research and experimentation by a multidisciplinary team,  this cross-cutting Italian company provides solutions for vertical farming — more specifically for aeroponic systems. The absence of soil or underlayers results in a weaker environmental impact, an improved use of resources, and an increased cost-competitiveness, all with the guarantee of a Made-in-Italy supply chain.

Attended by UNIDO ITPO Italy Head Diana Battaggia and Investment Promotion Expert Andrea Carapellese, and by CEO of ZERO Vertical Farms Daniele Modesto, this interesting exploratory meeting set the basis for potential future involvement within the activities of the promotion projects and investment coordinated by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
