In the framework of the project “Innovation Bridge Trieste - Dubai 2020, UNIDO ITPO Italy, jointly with UNIDO ITPO Bahrain ad GMIS Team, organized, between December 16th to 18th, a mission to the United Arab Emirates for an institutional delegation from Friuli Venezia Giulia region.

Based on UNIDO ITPO Italy recognized expertise on nexus between innovation and industry, the Friuli Venezia Giulia region delegation met in U.A.E. many interesting local stakeholders operating in open innovation, start-ups, entrepreneurship and academy, to illustrate ESOF 2020 as well as the opportunities offered by the Regional Scientific System. It was also useful to promote the creation of synergies between the events of ESOF Trieste 2020 and EXPO Dubai 2020.
