On Wednesday 29th September 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy was invited to take part in the conference “È tempo di investire in una nuova economia”, promoted by the Faculty of Economics of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy to the Holy See.

In this framework, UNIDO ITPO Italy Head Ms. Diana Battaggia joined as speaker a panel session — notably opened by the welcome remarks of H.E. Mr. Pietro Sebastiani, Ambassador of Italy to the Holy See — with an intervention dedicated to ”Technological innovation and sustainable investment”.

The panel session also featured the participation of: Ms. Antonella Occhino, Full Professor of Labour Law, Faculty of Economics at Unicatt, introducing “Ideas, values and models for an inclusive and innovative economic development”; Mr. Stefano Bozzi, Full Professor of Business Finance at Unicatt, discussing “The contribution of finance to sustainable development"; and Mr. Tiziano Treu, Professor Emeritus of Labour Law at Unicatt and President of the National Council for Economics and Labor (CNEL), presenting "Labour policies and professional education as strategic asset for enterprise competitiveness".
