In the framework of Expo Dubai 2020, UNIDO ITPO Italy participated in the panel session “Mediterranean Diet - People Planet Prosperity”, held on 15 October 2021 at the Italian pavilion within Expo Dubai 2020.

Organized in collaboration with Future Food Institute (FFI) and Cluster Agrifood  Nazionale (CL.A.N.), the event was moderated by Ms. Sara Roversi, President of FFI. Among several relevant speakers, the conference saw the participation of UNIDO ITPO Italy Investment Promotion Expert Mr. Andrea Carapellese, advancing the Food Coalition with FFI and the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) aimed at supporting agrifood systems in developing countries through technological innovation and capacity-building activities for sustainable development of supply chains in the agriculture sector of the Mediterranean.
