On 5 November 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and facilitated a matchmaking meeting between the Italian company Aster Srl and Drip Master Kenya Ltd, both operating in the field of precision irrigation.

Attended by UNIDO ITPO Italy's Investment Promotion Expert Ms. Ester Temperato, UNIDO ITPO Italy Special Advisor in Energy and Environment for Kenya Ms. Faith Okaalet; Mr. Antonino Principato, CEO of Aster; and Mr. Ibrahim Rashid, CEO of Drip Masters Kenya - the meeting was aimed at identifying opportunities for business collaboration between the two companies for a sustainable development of the agriculture sector in Kenya, as well as in the East-African region.

This initiative was arranged in the framework of the project "Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors", funded by the Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
