On 2nd December 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy participated in the final event of the Youth Forum contest organized by the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) within the framework of the 7th edition of its Rome MED Dialogues.

UNIDO ITPO Italy played a key role in the promotion of the Youth Forum - especially in several countries of the MENA region where the Office is operative - and also contributed as jury member to the selection of the finalists and winners of the contest.

During the event, UNIDO ITPO Italy’s Investment Promotion Expert Mr. Andrea Carapellese illustrated UNIDO ITPO Italy’s ongoing activities focusing on the promotion of the nexus between youth and innovation in MENA countries, with particular regard to the project “Investment Promotion for Iraq - Phase II” (IPI), implemented by UNIDO with the financial support of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, as well as its new initiative developed in the framework of the “Food Coalition” together with FAO and Future Food Institute.
