Within the framework of the project “Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors” (#FIPEE), on 12th April 2022 UNIDO ITPO Italy continued to promote opportunities for business in Botswana by facilitating the online meeting between Skyberry Botswana (Pty) and Alfaquadri Srl.

Skyberry Botswana is a waste-collection SME providing services to the Gaborone City Council, among which domestic door-to-door waste collection and disposal, street cleaning, litter picking and illegal dumping cleaning. This women-led enterprise, managed by Ms. Koziba, is interested in expanding its activity to the treatment and recycling of exhausted tires.

Since 1963 Alfaquadri has been operating successfully in the design and manufacture of solutions for energy management in industrial plants. In this framework, Alfaquadri Srl provided Ms. Koziba with technical information on its technology and equipment for what concerns innovative solutions for energy management and saving in industrial plants, fostering the exchange of know-how and best practices toward potential business synergies and future collaborations.
