On Monday 27th June 2022 UNIDO ITPO Italy took part in the “Boosting Innovation Standards for SDGs” Innovation Seminar organized by UNIDO in partnership with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

In this framework, UNIDO ITPO Italy Head Ms. Diana Battaggia participated as speaker in the panel session “Partnership for boosting innovation in SMEs and Startups”, illustrating the experience of UNIDO ITPO Italy in facilitating partnerships - with a special focus on the sector of agribusiness - between SMEs and startups from Developing Countries worldwide.

"In line with the Agenda 2030, it is essential to make economic sustainability coexist with the environmental and social sustainability of the innovations for development. ITPO Italy paves the way to create the perfect match between innovation and local needs on agribusiness in Developing Countries with the aim of opening up new ways of modernizing value chains in an inclusive manner" stated Diana Battaggia.
