On 21st July 2022 UNIDO ITPO Italy took part in a roundtable session organized in collaboration with Cermac — Italian Producers of Technologies and Products for Agriculture, Agroindustry and Zootechnics — dedicated to companies from Italy and Somalia operating in the field of irrigation.

The roundtable — which saw the participation of, from the Italian side, Irtec, Sime, Irritec, Rovatti Pompe and Euroclamp, as well as Gaalooge Cooperative and Kaah Agriculture from the Somali side — allowed to present innovative technologies and explore synergies for collaboration among the participants attending the event.

As a follow-up activity, enteprises will meet in private B2B sessions in the upcoming days, with the goal for the Somali SMEs to take part in company visits in Italy in the month of October 2022.
