UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and assisted a study tour, held from 13th to 16th March 2023 across the Italian regions of Lombardy and Veneto, aimed at providing a business and institutional delegation from Kazakhstan with innovative Italian best practices in the field of WEEE and waste management.

The study tour kicked off in Milan, with meetings at Centro di Coordinamento RAEE and visit to Azienda Milanese Servizi Ambientali (AMSA) by Gruppo a2a, while on 14th March in Monza e Brianza at Stena Recycling.

During the second leg of the study tour in Veneto, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the industrial plants of Angiari PMR in Verona, as well as For Rec S.P.A. and Panizzolo Recycling Systems in Padua on the final day of the study tour.

This initiative was organized in the framework of the project “Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors” (#FIPEE), funded by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
