UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and assisted on site the participation of its first-ever Iraqi delegation in the 35th edition of SANA - International Exhibition of Organic and Natural Products - held in Bologna from 7 to 9 September 2023.

The delegation was composed of 4 representatives of companies and institutions from Iraq and the Kurdistan region, operating in the field of organic food industry, trading and more, who had the opportunity to — also thanks to its dedicated UNIDO booth at the fair — showcase their products and services, as well as to take part in multiple B2B meetings with local visitors and exhibitors to discover new business opportunities.

This initiative was part of the project “Investment Promotion for Iraq— Phase II”, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
