From July 1st to 12th 2024, UNIDO ITPO Italy hosted a UNIDO Delegate Programme for Dr. Raid. N. Jammal. Al-Samarraee, Economic Consultant representing the Iraqi Federation of Chambers of Commerce (IFCC).

With the assistance of UNIDO ITPO Italy, during the Programme the delegate had the opportunity to take part in multiple meetings with relevant institutions, associations and companies operating in different field of interest such as agroindustry, environment and technology.

The Delegate met with, in the Lazio region, the Iraqi Embassy to Italy, The Circle, Mercato Ortofrutticolo di Fondi (MOF), Vivai Aumenta, Saec Group, the Chamber of Commerce of Rome, Metaltronica S.p.A., Caffè Trombetta, Lazio Innova, Tecnopolo Tiburtina along with Sigma Consulting; in Lombardy region, Sordi Impianti Srl, Promos Italia, Mar-Farma, and the Italian Association Foreign Trade (AICE).

During these meetings, key information in terms of market needs, industrial innovation and investment opportunities were gathered and exchanged between the Iraqi delegate and Italian stakeholders, paving the way for the development of follow-up collaborations and fostering business cooperation between the two countries.
