The Iraq Business & Cooperation Days, organized by UNIDO ITPO Italy and held in Rome on 26th and 27th November 2024, kicked off with field visits at the Agro-food Center of Rome (CAR) and the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA).

At CAR, the Iraqi delegation supported by UNIDO ITPO Italy, attended an overall presentation of the food district activities followed by field visits to different areas. At the Casaccia Research Center of ENEA — partner of UNIDO ITPO Italy following the joint declaration signed in 2017 — the delegation attended a presentation on the main research activities conducted by ENEA and then visited the concentrated solar power plants and the green biotechnology and agro-industry laboratories.
