UNIDO ITPO Italy supported the participation of a delegation from Iraq to the 2025 edition of KEY — The Energy Transition Expo, held from 5 to 7 March in Rimini — composed of 14 representatives from top companies and institutions from Iraq, including Nupader and the Iraqi Federation of Industries (IFI).

Thanks to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between IFI and the event organizers Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), facilitated by UNIDO ITPO Italy in 2024, at KEY 2025 the Iraqi delegates benefited also from an ad hoc booth where they had the chance to promote their products and establish relations with Italian counterparts.

Throughout the three days of KEY 2025, the Iraqi delegates took part in around 130 business meetings, thus paving the way to new collaborations between Iraqi and Italian firms in the field of renewable energies and energy-efficient solutions.
