Dakar, 21-22 February 2017 - ITPO Italy took part in the regional committee held in Dakar, in the framework of the project aimed at assisting fishery communities in 4 west african countries (Senegal, Mauritania, Guinea and ivory coast).

The African counterparts presented the activities carried out within last months, then proposing the workplan for the forthcoming weeks, both at national and at regional level.

At the same time, ITPO Italy had the opportunity to present the Fishery forum and study tour that will be organized in may, aimed at favouring the creation of partnerships with the Italian companies. The local stakeholders showed interest for the proposed schedule, namely for the cooperatives proposed for the study tour.
