Milan, February 22^nd 2019 – UNIDO ITPO Italy supported an entrepreneurial delegation from Pakistan in LineaPelle Fair, held in FieraMilano Rho, on 20-22^nd February, to pave the way for new partnerships with players belonging to fashion and textile technology sectors.

LineaPelle is the largest international trade fair for leather and fashion industry and one of the most important showcase for the exhibitors interested in learning about new products and manufacturing technologies.

In this framework, the Pakistani delegation had the opportunity to take part in several  B2B meetings with Italian exhibitors and foreign entrepreneurs of relevant sector. Among others, it is worth mentioning the meeting of PTA (Pakistan Tanneries Association) with ASSOMAC and UNIC , aimed to promote technology and know-how transfer with Pakistani producers. Also, they had the chance to take part to the concurrent Simac Tanning Tech Fair, to gain first-hand information on the latest in machinery and technologies applied to leather production.

The participation of UNIDO ITPO Italy at the fair represented a way in bridging the technology gaps in production and management of the leather manufactures in Pakistan, and opportunity to scan the market, and sound the trends out for new and fruitful collaborations.
