On 23rd March 2022 UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and held the meeting between CIE Tecnología Ambiental and NEMA - the National Environment Management Authority of Kenya.

The meeting - facilitated by UNIDO ITPO Italy Investment Promotion Expert Ms. Ester Temperato and Special Advisor for Energy and Environment in Kenya Ms. Linda Faith Okaalet - was focused on the waste management sector, discussing how Italian innovative technologies may support Kenya in addressing its challenges related to waste segregation, landfill management and waste-to-energy.

This activity was part of the project “Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors” (#FIPEE) funded by the Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
