Vicenza, November 19th - 20th 2015 - The delegate from the Philippines had a study tour through the entrepreneurial realities from Veneto and Marche. In Veneto, Dr. Evangelista met Made in Vicenza, a special Agency of Vicenza Chamber of Commerce, which promotes local products nationally and abroad and facilitates business relationships with external stakeholders. In this framework, the delegate had the opportunity to know the main local sectors (mechanics, jewelry and leather tanning), also providing an outlook of the Philippine economical system including the areas of interest for the development of potential partnerships.

After that, Dr. Evangelista was welcomed by Padova Promex, the special Agency of the local Chamber of Commerce aimed to assist the Padova entrepreneurial system in facing the global market. Confindustria Padova and Unione Provinciale degli Artigiani also participated in the meeting and they discussed with the delegate about mutual  topics, like the industrial machineries sector. Moreover, the participants were interested in a potential business mission in the ASEAN area (Association of South-East Asia Nations), where at the moment Philippines are the fastest growing economy.

The tour ended in Marche region, where the delegate met Regione Marche and Confindustria Marche representatives. In this framework, concerning the projects of electrification of some Philippine islands, the theme of renewable green energies was discussed. Regione Marche and Confindustria Marche showed interest in the Philippine economic system, specifically in what concerns the field of alternative energy sources. Regione Marche, as a matter of fact,  required insights on the solar energy sector.

The mentioned activities have undoubtedly generated mutual interest as they paved the way for future business collaboration between the Italian entrepreneurial system and the Philippines.
