On Tuesday 28th September 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy was invited to participate in a meeting with the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Italy at the Embassy’s premises in Rome.

In this framework, UNIDO ITPO Italy Chief Technical Advisor and Referent for Cuba Mr. Dino Fortunato and Ms. Valentina Maltese, Coordinator of the project “Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors” (FIPEE), met with Ms. Emma Liens Morejon, Economic and Trade Adviser at the Embassy of Cuba in Italy.

The meeting represented an occasion to present the "FIPEE Call for High Impact Cleantech" recently launched by UNIDO ITPO Italy and to brief about the organization of Cuban entrepreneurial and institutional delegation to the 2021 edition of the Ecomondo and Key Energy exhibition, the project “Capacity Building on Investment for Cuban Government” implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy with the financial support of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, as well as potential synergies and future activities between UNIDO ITPO Italy and the Embassy.
