Claudine Touma, entrepreneur from Lebanon operating in the wine sector, took part in the 6th edition of the International Woman Award by the Evento Donna Association, held in Rome on 17th September 2025, and was awarded in the Entrepreneurship category for her inspiring work in industrial development and commitment to driving impact and innovation.

UNIDO ITPO Italy had previously supported the Lebanese entrepreneur during multiple activities organized within the framework of the project "Twinning partnership for sustainable small and medium-sized enterprises development in Lebanon", funded by the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia.

On the sidelines of the Award, the Lebanese delegate was supported by UNIDO ITPO Italy in a meeting with the W20 Italy's presidency and upper management, to advance women empowerment and strengthen global connections for the involvement of women in decision-making processes.
