To ensure continuity with the mission and the vision of EXPO 2015, the first activity of the virtual Pavilion of Knowledge will be a kick-off workshop to take place in Matera on 14-15 December 2015 around the subject: When Creativity meets Business: Sharing Stories of Women Entrepreneurs for Local Development.
The choice of this theme is not casual but it is based on the international attention that gender equality and women empowerment received at EXPO 2015. A special initiative Women for EXPO was launched to emphasize the importance of women economic empowerment and its development impact.
