Why Ecuador

The Ecuadorian economy historically has played the role of raw material exporter of goods such as Cocoa, Bananas and Petrol. The main economic activities that have witnessed a significant progression are amongst the following sectors: Water and Electricity 13.1%, construction 9.3%, fishery 6,5%, financial intermediation services 3.8%. The mineral oil refining industry on the other hand has seen a decline of 9,9% in its activities.
