On 25 October 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy held a meeting with the Ethiopian Clean Cooking Alliance (ECCA) in order to introduce the project "Fostering partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and evnvironment sectors" (FIPEE) to the association and find common points for collaboration.

In light of this meeting, attended by UNIDO ITPO Italy's Special Advisor for Energy and Environment in Ethiopia Mr. Fasil Abate Hagos and ECCA Director Ms. Konjit Nigusu, the two parties agreed to further a joint discussion regarding policy dialogue and investment promotion on clean energy.
