On 8 November 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy organized a matchmaking meeting between the Italian company Aster Srl and Drifield Kenya Ltd, both operating in the field of precision agriculture and drip irrigation.

This meeting - facilitated by UNIDO ITPO Italy's Investment Promotion Expert Ms. Ester Temperato and Special Advisor in Energy and Environment for Kenya Ms. Faith Okaalet; and attended by Mr. Antonino Principato, CEO of Aster as well as Mr. Joshua Musyoka, Business Development Manager of Drifield Kenya - was aimed at connecting the two companies and at discussing together sustainable solutions for local farmers, in order to boost the development of the agriculture sector in Kenya.

This initiative was arranged in the framework of the project "Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors", funded by the Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
