On 16 November 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy met with the Italian Veneto Region at the Region's premises in Rome, to discuss about a potential activity to be implemented in the province of Cuando Cubango, Angola.

The meeting was attended, on UNIDO ITPO Italy side, by the Head Ms. Diana Battaggia, Investment Promotion Expert Mr. Andrea Carapellese and Chief Technical Advisor Mr. Dino Fortunato; from the Veneto Region, Mr. Luigi Zanin, Director of International Cooperation, Cardinal Mr. Eugenio Dal Corso, P.S.D.P. Emeritus Bishop of Benguela (Angola) and Mr. Matteo Campana, President of Direcção da Kulikwassa do Cuando Cubango.

Such activity would be aimed at mapping local technology needs related to the environment, renewable energy, forest management and circular economy sectors, facilitating ad hoc capacity building the transfer of best practices to benefit local public and private stakeholders.
