On 17 November 2021 UNIDO ITPO Italy was invited to take part in a meeting at the Embassy of Ethiopia to Italy in Rome, in order to evaluate together future activities to be implemented within the framework of the project “Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors” (FIPEE).

Notably, the meeting featured the participation of H.E. the Ambassador of Ethiopia to Italy, Ms. Demitu Hambisa Bonsa, as well as UNIDO ITPO Italy’s Head Ms. Diana Battaggia, FIPEE Project Coordinator Ms. Valentina Maltese, and Investment Promotion Expert for Ethiopia Ms. Ester Temperato.

The discussion was useful to explore synergies regarding how to collaborate on the implementation of future activities aimed at strengthening the Ethiopian sectors of renewable energy, the water-food-energy nexus, and forest management in the country.
