On 5th April 2022 UNIDO ITPO Italy facilitated the first introductory meeting between the Ethiopian Green Days Industries PLC and the Italian Tyrebirth Srl — both companies operating in the field of waste management and waste-to-energy, with special regards to the sector of pyrolysis of tires.

During this first introductory meeting — also attended by UNIDO ITPO Italy’s Investment Promotion Expert Ms. Ester Temperato and Special Advisor in Energy and Environment for Ethiopia Mr. Fasil Abate Hagos — representatives of Green Days Industries and Tyrebirth had the opportunity to introduce themselves, illustrate their business, discuss main trends in the sector and explore joint strategies for the development of circular economy models, paving the way for potential future collaborations.

This initiative was arranged as a part of the project “Fostering international partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the energy and environment sectors” (#FIPEE) funded by the Italian Ministry of Ecological Transition and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
