UNIDO ITPO Italy took part in the 2022 edition of Cibus Tec Forum - the Exhibition & Conference on Food & Beverage Technologies Trends, held from 25th to 26th October in Parma, Italy - by assisting the participation of a business delegation from Egypt operating in the field of tomato value chain and food processing.

This initiative was part of the project “Inclusive and Sustainable Development of the Tomato Value Chain (TVC) in Egypt”, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and implemented by UNIDO.

At the fair, the Egyptian delegation supported by UNIDO ITPO Italy had the opportunity to attend the conference "Il Filo Rosso del Pomodoro", an important moment of networking and sharing between professionals of the processed tomato supply chain; visit the exhibition area, discovering cutting-edge technologies in the different food processing and packaging sectors; and take part in B2B meetings with the most important technology manufacturers, discussing potential joint synergies and further business relations.
