From 25th to 27th October 2022 UNIDO ITPO Italy coordinated and supported on site the “Jordan Public Private Partnerships and Investment Promotion Mission to Italy” for a Jordanian delegation in Rome, Pordenone and Trieste.

On the first day of the mission, the Jordanian delegation had the opportunity to take part in a welcome multilateral meeting at UNIDO ITPO Italy, while in the afternoon to join the round table “Investment and Partnership Opportunities in Jordan” organized with and at Confindustria Assafrica & Mediteranneo.

For the second and third day of meetings, the Jordanian delegation flied to the Italian Friuli Venezia Giulia Region to participate in a second round table “Investment and Partnership Opportunities in Jordan”, this time organized in collaboration with Sprint FVG, Finest and the FVG Region in Pordenone, as well as to visit Area Science Park, FVG Region and TriestEspresso Expo in Trieste.

This initiative — facilitated by UNIDO ITPO Italy in the framework of the UNIDO project “Job Creation for Youth and Women through the Improvement of Business Environment and SMEs Competitiveness”, implemented in collaboration with the Jordanian Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply (MITS) and with the support of the Italian Agency for Development and Cooperation (AICS) — successfully allowed to promote Jordan’s dynamic commercial and investment prospects to the Italian business community and further develop the trade and economic relations between the two countries.
