Within the framework of its participation in the 2022 edition of Ecomondo and Key Energy, on 9th November 2022 UNIDO ITPO Italy coordinated a study tour organized by the Italian Exhibition Group for its delegations from Botswana and Morocco.

The delegates participating in the study tour in Rimini had the opportunity to visit three local plants by Gruppo Hera dedicated to waste-to-energy, anaerobic digestion and composting, and selection and recovery.

This initiative was part of the project "Fostering International Partnerships between companies and/or institutions operating in the Energy and Environment sectors" (#FIPEE), implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy with the support of the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energetic Security (MASE).
