At the 2023 edition of Macfrut, held in Rimini between 3 and 5 May, UNIDO ITPO Italy and UNIDO Somalia supported the participation in the fair of a Somali delegation composed of local companies operating in the field of fruit & vegetables.

During the fair, the Somali delegates had the opportunity to meet exhibitors and visitors, discussing business and facilitating the development of potential collaborations.

With their own dedicated booth at the fair, UNIDO ITPO Italy and UNIDO Somalia also took part in a panel session to introduce the delegation as well as upcoming activities to promote Somalia as a business destination for Italian and international companies - including the 2nd "Italia-Somalia Business & Trade Forum".
