UNIDO ITPO Italy's webinar “Digital Strategy for SMEs: an Introduction to Navigating Iraq’s Digital Economy” took successfully place online on 5th October 2023.

With the participation of around 40 Iraqi and Italian start-ups and SMEs, the webinar provided an introductory overview of key digital strategies for navigating the Iraqi market and, more specifically, its digital economy. By bringing together key local hubs, institutions, and firms with a focus on digitalization — with the participation as panelists of representatives of Baghdad Business School, The Station, Kapita, Abwaab, Hi Influencer, Aon and Baghdad Game Lab — to share presentations and success stories, the webinar allowed to create and strengthen existing networks that can support and empower start-ups and SMEs in their digital journey.

This initiative was part of the project “Investment Promotion for Iraq — Phase II”, funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
