From 18th to 21st October 2023 UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and assisted on site the participation of two Somali delegations in two Italian exhibitions on blue economy and agribusiness: Blue Sea Land in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, and SAIE in Bari, Apulia.

At Blue Sea Land, one delegation had the opportunity to attend conferences and panel sessions on the subject of the blue economy together with ambassadors and high-level institutional representatives from the African continent, among others, while the other delegation at SAIE to discover innovative technologies in the field of agribusiness and meet the Italian private sector, to promote Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development in Somalia.
