UNIDO ITPO Italy organized and assisted the participation of a delegation from Iraq to the 2023 edition of Cibus Tec, held in Parma, Italy from 24th to 27th October 2023.

The Iraqi delegation was composed of manufacturers and institutional representatives also from the Kurdistan Region, among which Director General at the Ministry of Industry Ali Mousa Alshabbar, and Mustafa Sizachi from the KRG Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The initiative was part of the project "Investment Promotion for Iraq - Phase II", funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and implemented by UNIDO ITPO Italy.
