Rome, April 27^th 2015 - The meeting "Focus Pakistan - Country System and Cooperation Opportunities" organized by Lazio Innova took place today at the headquarters of Lazio Innova with the aim to present the economic productive system of Pakistan with a special reference to the sectors of automotive and food processing. The event was supported by UNIDO ITPO Italy and the Embassy of Pakistan in Rome.

The event was opened by Mr. Farid Ahmad Tarar, Commercial Attaché of the Pakistani Embassy, which gave a brief presentation on the Pakistani economy and outline the business opportunities to the Italian companies.

Mr. Dino Fortunato, Investment Promotion Expert of the UNIDO ITPO Italy office, illustrated  the programme that UNIDO is implementing in Pakistan, aimed to increase the number of industrial projects in the Asian Country  and to support Pakistan to increase services aimed at strengthening the private sector development. Furthermore, Mr. Fortunato presented the investment opportunities indentified by UNIDO in Pakistan and the profiles of the forthcoming Pakistani Entrepreneurial delegation to EXPO Milan 2015.  

The appointment was held in the framework of the new training cycle IntFormatevi, promoted by Lazio Innova in collaboration with Unioncamere Lazio, to support the process of internationalization of SME in Lazio Region.
