Parma, May 22th 2015 - The Argentinean delegation composed by 30 leading companies in the food industry organized by UNIDO Itpo Italy visited Parma to discover the local excellencies, through a synergic collaboration between the UN office and the local stakeholder PARMAforEXPO.

The companies were led by Mr. Arturo Jorge Videla, head of delegation and member of Subsecretaría de Lechería in the Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganaderia Pescae, as well as by two senior officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of Argentina: Mr. Carlos Luis Berra, National Director of the Subsecretaría Producción Lechera de Lechería, and Mr. Fernado Ramos, coordinator of Plataforma de Exportacion, interested to discover Parma’s dairy industry sector.

The day started with a company visit to Bertinelli, leader in the production of Parmigiano Reggiano. Mr. Cesare Azzali, Director of UPI - Union of Industrialists and Chief of PARMAforEXPO roundtable, addressed the welcome to the delegation with Mr. Cristiano Casa, Councillor for Industry, Tourism and Trade of the City of Parma and Mr. Erasmo Neviani, Delegate for EXPO of the University of Parma.

After that, the delegation was hosted in Palazzo Soragna for a technical-scientific meeting about dairy sector, at the European and international level.
