Rome, June 22, 2015 - The Eurasia 2015 Workshop organized by Lazio Innova, Unindustria Lazio, and Lazio Region, sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was held at the Chamber of Commerce of Rome, with the aim of expanding political and institutional business strategies aimed at creating partnership opportunities with economic entities of Asian countries.

In this regard, the event aims to strengthen the cooperation between Italy and East Asian countries, through the development of partnerships with the ASEAN member states and large Chinese urban centers such as, Tianjin and Chongqing.

Important political and economic figures gathered for this event, including; the president of ICE, Mr. Riccardo Maria Monti, the Italian consul in Chongqing, Mr. Sergio Maffettone, Deputy Secretary General of ASEAN, Mr. Lim Hong Hin,  President of SIMEST, Amb. Ferdinando Nelli Feroci and the president of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Parliament,  Mr. Paolo De Castro.
