Rimini, 8-11 November 2016 - As part of the support provided by UNIDO to the Iraqi private sector, ITPO Italy assisted an entrepreneurial delegation of companies operating in the renewable energy and water treatment sectors.

The delegation took part in Ecomondo fair, relevant exhibition for eco-friendly technologies and renewable energies. The entrepreneurs had the opportunity to carry out several BtoB meetings with fair exhibitors, as well as with leading Italian companies in the mentioned sectors, in order to assess potential partnerships.

UNIDO ITPO Italy also organized two study tours, in collaboration with Confindustria Forlì-Cesena, aimed to know the excellence of Forlì area, and in the company pro D-3, a leading producer of photovoltaic systems, even in off-grid areas.

ITPO staff will follow the evolution of negotiations in place, in order to stimulate a fruitful collaboration between the Italian companies and the Iraqi involved ones.
