Rome, 19 September 2017 – ITPO Italy participated to the press conference for the launch of the Italy-Africa Business week  - IABW 2017, a two-days event of networking, BtoB meetings and conferences organized by “Le Resau” association, that will be held in Rome on October 17th-18th 2017. The Economic Forum, focused on agro and agribusiness, infrastructures, biomedical, renewable energies and new technologies sectors, will bring together high-level representatives of international cooperation agencies, institutions and African and Italian entrepreneurs with the aim to promote new business opportunities.

The conference, opened by the Director of IAWB, Dr. Cleophas Adrien Dioma, was attended, among others, by Mr. Giovanni Ottati, president of Confindustria Assafrica and Mediterraneo, H.E. Amb. Pietro Sebastiani, Director General for Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ms. Fernanda Gellona, Director of Assobiomedica. The importance of the private sector for the development of an emerging country, through an appropriate investment strategic plan, and the needs to improve communication between Italian and African companies were the focus of the speeches

In this framework, the Forum would like to be a great opportunity to build an economic and human bridge between Italy and Africa for a shared growth. The conference concluded stressing the importance of communication between companies, interaction in which Media agencies play an main role.
