UNIDO ITPO Italy and the Italian Ministry of Environment, Landand Sea, in collaboration with the Global Green Growth Institute, invite the Italian companies to a technical seminar “Opportunities in the framework of the Italian environmental cooperation activities in the Horn of Africa”, which will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, 25-26^th February 2019. 

The event is open to the Italian companies and other actors committed in the following sectors:

·         Renewable Energy/Off grid solutions;

·         Integrated waste management;  

·         Sustainable management of water resources; 

During the seminar, the leading stakeholders (among private sector and development operators), involved in the implementation of Nationally Determined Contribution (NDCs), will take part to present the investment opportunities in the relevant sectors.

Participants will have the possibility to present their company profile, showing the supply of goods and/or services, along with the “green” innovative technologies, which will contribute to attain a sustainable development and to address the climate change.

The presentations, no longer than 10-15 minutes, will be in English. The translation services will not be provided by the organization. The Italian companies will also have the possibility to held BtoB meetings with local counterparts, as well as to attend ACITF 2019.

The participating companies are requested to cover mission expenses.  

The initiative is part of the activities promoted by the Italian Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea, aimed at favoring actions for sustainable development, mitigation and adaptation to climate change within the countries of the Horn of Africa.
